The successful candidate will have previous experience in a high-quality establishment.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- To ensure the quality and standard of cuisine is in line with fine dining and portrays an exceptional sensory experience for guest
- Ensure that menus are constantly updated, paying special attention to seasonal availability
- Ensure that all menus are calculated correctly to obtain maximum gross profit
- To ensure that all staff are constantly trained to effect good portion control and pleasing presentations of all dishes
- Hold daily meetings with Restaurant Manager to ensure VIP’s are timeously identified
- To ensure that expenses are within budget limits
- Drivers licence and own transport essential
