There’s nothing like enjoying the beauty of a fine-dining meal that’s plated to perfection, foam sweeping across the plate, and floral bits lending vibrant colour.

On 24 March, the Live-Cook Channel will bring the multiple award-winning Chef George Jardine to the stage to show viewers exactly how a pro should plate an incredible, flavourful dish. On the menu at 18h00 is a delectable Seared Beef Sirloin with Charred Aubergine, Creamed Swiss Chard and Roasted Baby Tomatoes – a signature dish currently available at Jordan in Stellenbosch.

Make and Plate a Seasonal Dish of Sirloin and Aubergines

There’s nothing like searing aged sirloin to perfection, but did you know that of all vegetables, it pairs well with aubergine? In this creamy yet sizzling seasonal dish, Chef George will show us how to properly sear, char, puree, roast and plate an amazing, Michelin-star-worthy meal on Wednesday, 24 March.

“I love cooking with aubergine, they’re amazing right now and perfect for the season. This dish is easy to do in large numbers, too, while still maintaining a beautiful presentation,” says George, adding that although this will be a slight challenge for kitchen novices, ticket holders are guaranteed to be making an amazing restaurant-worthy dinner they can be proud of. “For a taste of Jordan in your home, join me on 24 March on the Live-Cook Channel.”
